About Jen
Jen is a Certified Career Coach and agency recruiter with nearly a decade of experience on both sides of the hiring process.
She holds a certification in Career Coaching using NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) techniques , which means the strategies used in her practice are not just based on recruiting experience. They are rooted in how people actually think, communicate, and present themselves, and how to make that work in your favor.
On the recruiting side, Jen has partnered with companies ranging from Fortune 100 organizations to high growth startups and small businesses, supporting searches across multiple industries and functions, from entry level roles to executive leadership.
Throughout her career she has been recognized with industry awards, invited to speak on recruiting panels, and selected for special projects focused on talent strategy and hiring best practices. She has also consulted with organizations on improving their recruiting processes and candidate experience.
The guidance she provides is not based on theory. It is based on thousands of conversations with candidates, hiring managers, and executives, along with years of reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, negotiating offers, and helping people navigate the job market from both sides.

Hi, I'm Jen.
I have been in recruiting for nearly a decade. I have reviewed thousands of LinkedIn profiles, sourced thousands of resumes, and interviewed candidates across industries and roles at every level.
Through all of those conversations, I kept noticing the same thing. Most people are not struggling because they are unqualified. They are struggling because nobody ever showed them how the hiring side actually works.
What makes sense to a recruiter is not always obvious when you are the one applying. There is a whole side of this process that most job seekers never see, and it makes all the difference. I cannot tell you how many times someone has walked away from a conversation with me saying "I had no idea." That is exactly why I created JGO Hire.
I want to give you that same insight. The behind the scenes stuff. The things recruiters actually look at, talk about, and use to make decisions. Once you understand how this works, the whole process starts to make a lot more sense.
